Generic semaglutide arrived in Canada in May 2026 and the price of the pen fell by roughly two-thirds. This is the number every other price on this page should be measured against.

Apotex publishes a wholesale list price of $78.14 per 4-week supply; the rest is the pharmacy's dispensing fee and margin. Six further semaglutide generics are under Health Canada review, so expect this table to get cheaper.

Eli Lilly's patient support program (mymounjaro.ca) reduces this by roughly 25–40% for eligible patients, with a further reduction for low income. Ask the pharmacy to apply it.
Most Canadian telehealth clinics quote one bundled number that includes the medication. Because the pharmacy price is public, the care fee can be worked out by subtraction — that's the third column. It is our arithmetic, not their disclosure.

Yes, TeleTest is cheaper than us. The $152 a year is twelve monthly dose reviews and someone to message between them. If you don't want that, don't buy it — and at 2 mg the gap between Basal and Felix is $1,116 a year.
